Cranberry Township is kicking off its fundraising efforts to add a green space to its Municipal Center.
The spot will be known as “The Armstrong Great Lawn” and aims to bring an “environmentally conscience gathering space” in front of the building. Armstrong agreed to serve as the main corporate sponsor for the area.
The Great Lawn will include pedestrian connections in order to create a traditional town center.
This was announced as the Cranberry Township Community Chest project last year. Businesses and residents are encouraged to donate to the cause—which can be found here.
