Cranberry Township is again looking for volunteer snow angels or those who might be in need of the assistance they can provide.
This program is designed to help those in the township who need help shoveling snow. The volunteers are called “Snow Angels” and they are partnered with residents to remove snow and help keep sidewalks and driveways clear and safe.
According to Cranberry Township’s website, volunteers are invited to participate by completing a form online. They will be paired with a nearby resident that is in need of snow removal. Once approved, the Township will reach out once they have matched with a neighbor in need.
Those in need of assistance from a snow angel volunteer in the Cranberry Township area should also complete an online form. To receive snow removal assistance, an individual needs to be a resident of Cranberry Township, have a physical disability or be age 60 or older, and must lack alternative snow removal options.
Once the township locates an available volunteer, the Township will contact the person in need with more information.
