Cranberry Township is once again celebrating being named a banner community.
The award is given by Allegheny County and the Allegheny League of Municipalities.
This is the ninth consecutive year the township has won the award which recognizes a commitment to professional development, fiscal management, transparency, and active communications.
A total of 71 municipalities were recognized by the group.
