With winter storms just around the corner, travelers in southern Butler County will receive help clearing roads from a newly-named piece of equipment.
Cranberry Township recently announced the results of their contest earlier this year to name a plow.
The name “Control+Salt+Delete” and graphic was chosen by residents from among more than 1,000 suggestions earlier this year.
The Cranberry Public Works Crews selected their top 10 and then the public gave nearly 30 percent of their vote to this tech-influenced choice.
The plow will be used along the Route 228 corridor in Cranberry Springs, Cranberry Woods, and the MSA Thruway.
