Cranberry Township is moving forward with this year’s paving program.
Township Supervisors recently gave authorization to bid the annual Superpave work along with a revised Cape Seal Pilot Program.
This program organizes the township into four quadrants so that all the streets of a neighborhood are given attention every four years. Roads identified as needing attention but not requiring full milling and surfacing will undergo a new two-step process to seal existing cracks, prevent potholes, waterproof, and provide a smoother riding surface.
This year, the area chosen is the northeast part of the township with residents in that area receiving more information in the coming weeks.
