Cranberry Township will not be moving forward with a plan to build housing geared toward younger people.
The Board of Supervisors opted to withdraw an ordinance related to missing middle housing during last week’s meeting.
According to a township press release, the staff will take more time to work on the effort.
The goal of the idea was to create more diverse, and less expensive housing options in the Township for younger people and families. Advocates for the program said it would benefit the township long term.
