Cranberry Township is beginning to upgrade old garbage carriers.
The township is planning to host a garbage cart replacement event on Saturday, November 4th at the Public Works Building.
Officials say the recycling and yard waste carts that were manufactured between 2004 and 2008 are eligible for a free replacement.
Existing carts must be exchanged before receiving a new cart.
No appointments are required for the day.
