With the school year right around the corner, Cranberry Township officials are beginning a campaign to make sure drivers slow down.
The “Slow Down Campaign” will run starting next Tuesday through September 5th.
It aims to make the streets safer for those who are walking and playing outside. The campaign ramps up this time of year especially with kids waiting at the bus stop.
The township will be placing yard signs and mobile radar speed signs throughout various neighborhoods.
The program is funded by local sponsors.
