Today marks 23 years since the attacks of September 11th.
As they’ve done in the past, the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company will remember those we lost that day with a ceremony.
An American flag will be hung on the ladder truck at sunrise, which remain up through sundown.
A member of the company will also play “Taps” six different times to commemorate significant moments from 23 years ago. The ceremony will be held in front of the company’s 9/11 Memorial.
Governor Josh Shapiro has also ordered all U.S. and state flags at half-staff in observance of Patriot Day.
