We’ve learned more information about a crash that happened earlier this week in Parker.
It was around 2 a.m. Monday morning when state police say 55-year-old Frederick Dunlap of Parker was driving too fast on the Route 368 bridge—which goes over the Allegheny River. Dunlap didn’t stop at a stop sign as he tried to make a right turn onto Route 268.
That’s when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into Welter’s Country Market on North River Avenue.
Police say Dunlap wasn’t wearing his seatbelt and was taken to UPMC Presbyterian for his injuries.
The crash caused significant damage to the country store.
