The first call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 6:50 a.m. after multiple residents reported seeing heavy smoke coming from a home in the 100 block of West Main Street.
After Saxonburg firefighters arrived on scene, they called for additional crews and elevated it to a two-alarm fire.
Dispatchers say everyone was able to get out of the home safely.
Crews began to attack the fire—which was still burning in parts of the house more than an hour after the blaze started.
There’s no word on what caused the fire. Crews are still on scene as of 9 a.m.
