It’s been a very busy 24 hours for first responders dealing with flooding and accidents as a result of the immense amount of rain the county received.
The Butler County 911 Center handled numerous calls Friday morning for cars stuck in flooded roadways, flooded basements, and vehicle accidents.
The flooding has also led to a number of roads that are shut down according to PennDOT.
- North Washington Rd. is closed in between Campbell and Meals Road in Concord.
- West Sunbury Road (Route 308) in Marion Township closed between Deer Road and Boyers Road.
- Route 356 North Pike Road in Jefferson Township will have lane closures both northbound and southbound into Friday evening in the area of Bonniebrook Road.
PennDOT estimated these closures will last until 6 p.m. Friday.
