Administrators in the Knoch School District are continuing to deal with underground lines in relation to the ongoing construction project near the High School.
According to Superintendent Dr. David Foley, a water line was struck by an excavator digging a trench last Tuesday.
The water company was able to make repairs in less than two hours so students did not need to be sent home.
This comes after holes were discovered in a gas line last month causing some students to utilize flexible instruction days. Electric company employees also hit an older buried line while doing some work recently.
Foley went on to say that “significant work” will continue on the underground lines over the summer.
