A water main break has re-emerged in downtown Butler this morning.
Crews were called to the initial water main break around 5 p.m. last night at the intersection of Main Street and Penn Street.
Crews had to dig significantly into Penn Street in order to fix the break.
However, earlier this morning the break happened again, causing water to bubble up along Penn Street.
PA American Water crews are back on location.
We’ll update if any nearby facilities have to close.
