A mobile home in Center Township is considered a total loss following a fire earlier this morning.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just after 8 a.m. for a working fire at a mobile home in the 300 block in Volkswood Drive—which is just off of Route 8 North near the flea market.
Crews arrived on scene and found the fire to be fully involved. Fortunately, everyone was able to safely get out of the building.
The fire was brought under control within a half hour.
However, the home was significantly damaged with officials deeming it a total loss. The American Red Cross was also called in to assist the family.
