A rare wintertime race will happen this weekend at a local golf course.
Community Options is hosting the annual Cupid’s Chase 5K at Lake Arthur Golf Club this Saturday morning.
Organizers say the race is open to everyone from children to seniors, with awards will be given to a variety of age groups.
Runners and walkers can sign up online or the day of the event. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a 10 a.m. start.
Proceeds benefit Community Options, which is a local organization that helps those with disabilities.
