March means high school musical season around Butler County with several local schools raising their curtains over the next few days.
While The Addams Family musical at Karns City High School officially opens Thursday, tickets are only still available for Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
Seneca Valley will perform their all-school musical, Mary Poppins, this weekend with shows beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, as well as 2 p.m. matinee shows Saturday and Sunday in the Seneca Valley Intermediate School Auditorium. Tyler Friel will talk with some of those involved later today following the news at noon.
Finally, Freeport Area School District will stage “No, No, Nanette” with 7:30 p.m. shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, as well as a 2 p.m. matinee show Sunday in the Middle School Auditorium.
At the Knoch School District, it’s “Something Rotten” on the high school stage this Friday and Saturday evening, plus a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.
