Millions of Americans will be scouring websites today during the annual online shopping holiday known as Cyber Monday.
Experts believe Americans will make $9.4 billion in purchases this Monday.
But when you’re reading reviews of products online a new study says beware because more than a third of those reviews are fake.
The website Fakespot says that people are being paid by companies to write biased reviews.
The Better Business Bureau says to be on the lookout for “overly-generic” language and a slew of five stars reviews as indicators for a fake review.
