Cynthia King, of Versailles went to sleep in Jesus on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at age 65 after a short battle with cancer and then volvulus. Cynthia was born in Pittsburgh on March 11, 1956 to the late Margaret and Gerald Ruffner. Her sister Wanda K (Ruffner) Borne had passed away in 2011. When Cynthia was younger, she attended lower Burrell school system then went to community college, became a nurse after graduating, then later moved to Versailles Boro and pursued a career in nursing. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Cynthia also loved hiking and doing Zumba classes. Cynthia had 2 children, Michelle (Rogers) Lucas and Allen King. She also had 3 grandchildren Danielle Rogers, Tiffany Rogers, and Priscilla King. Cynthia also had two great grandchildren Caleb Rogers and Kadience Coyne. Cynthia was a loyal servant to God, first and foremost. Recently She was rebaptized into the Mon Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church. She loved her church and loved sharing the love and warmth of our savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible.
