Daniel J. Whalen

Daniel J. Whalen, 80, of East Brady passed away on August 13th, 2021, at Concordia of Cranberry assisted living facility. Danny was born February 8th, 1941, in Clairton, Pennsylvania, to John J. and Anna M. (Ramsden) Whalen. Danny was a retired Local 449 Steamfitter. He was preceded in death by his parents, an older brother who died in infancy, and his brothers John Whalen, and Tommy Calabrese. Danny is survived by his children Maureen A. Secilia of Kittanning, Pennsylvania, and Michael P. Whalen of Wexford, Pennsylvania. As well as his grandchildren Mikaela A. Whalen of Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania, and Erin Secilia of Kittanning. He is also survived by his sisters Joanne (Bob) Horn of Homosassa, Florida; Jeanne (Jack) Kruger of The Villages, Florida; Kathleen (Mike) Reilly of Nags Head, North Carolina; Mary Lou (Rick) Jackson of Ephrata, Pennsylvania; and Cindy Jennings of Glen Allen, Virginia.
