Daniel L. Burka

Daniel L. Burka, 69, of Butler passed away Tuesday June 1, 2021. He was born September 12, 1951, in Butler, the son of the late Lewis and Helen (Homa) Burka. Daniel was a champion bowler in the 1960’s and 70’s, and toured the country with his bowling league. He was also a lover of animals and volunteered at the Butler County Humane Society for years.
He is survived by his three children, Keith Burka of Butler, Megan King of Pittsburgh, and Janet White of Butler, and their spouses; two grandchildren; four sisters and two brothers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leah Burka, who he married on June 14, 1980 and who died on September 24, 2012.
BURKA – Friends and family of Daniel L. Burka, who passed away Tuesday June 1, 2021, will be received at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 5:30PM until the time of blessing service at 6:30PM.
