Daniel R. Myers, 62 of Butler, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at the Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born November 18, 1959, in Greenville, PA to the late Roy J. and Peggy (Robinson) Myers.
Daniel graduated from Greenville High School. He was a Veteran of the US Army and Operation Desert Storm. After the Army, Daniel attended Thiel College and received an associate degree.
He was Methodist by faith. Daniel was employed as a Respiratory Therapist from 1988 until his retirement for Butler VA Healthcare.
He was a F&AM of the Victory Lodge #272, Butler. Daniel enjoyed reading, John Wayne movies, Dungeons and Dragons, Computer games and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving is his wife of 30 years Debra Myers who he married April 27, 1991; Daughter: Holli N. Waddell and her husband John of East Springfield, PA; step-son: Joshua M. Fry and his wife Amee of Butler; step-daughter: Jessica M. Moore and her husband Trevor of Cowansville, PA; seven grandchildren: Lylli, Ella, Addie, Kyler, Margo, John Wesley and Leland; three sisters: Judy Eakin and her husband Howard of Medina OH; Susie Hanna of Senecaville, OH; Amy Noble and her husband Robert of Greenville, PA; three brothers: John Myers and his with Ruth of San Benito, TX; Kevin Myers of Jamestown, PA; twin brother David R. Myers and his wife Marcia of New Castle, PA; also numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends and invited to a visitation on Thursday, December 23, 2021, from 11:00 – 1:00 PM at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. 124 E. North Street, Butler, PA 16001.
A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Edmundson officiating.
A Masonic Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Military honors will be conducted by the Butler Veterans Honor Guard following visitation at the funeral home Thursday.
