Darl R. Lumley, Sr., age 76, of Butler, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Butler on August 27, 1941, he was a son of the late Earl and Hazel Emmitt Lumley.
He was employed at Pullman Standard.
Darl coached baseball for many years at Butler Memorial Park.
He is survived by five children, Darl Lumley, Jr. and his wife, Carol, of Butler, Mark Lumley and his wife, Cindy, of Orlando, FL, Keith Lumley of Butler, Kim Goslaw and her husband, Steve, of Butler, and Amy Fields and her husband, Jim, of Meridian; one brother, Bob Lumley, Sr., of Petrolia; and one sister, Joanne McWilliams, of Butler.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Cameron Lumley, Brianna Santoro, Brittany Goslaw, Garrett Goslaw, Mackenzie Fields, Tori Fields and Nathan Fields.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Melvin, Harry, Ron, Frank and Paul Lumley, Sr.; and one sister, Norma Jean Lumley.
Friends will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Avenue, Butler, on Monday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 8 p.m. with Pastor David West, of GraceWay Community Church, officiating.
Burial will take place at Butler County Memorial Park Cemetery.
