David C. Baker

David C. Baker “The Bake Man” 80, of Butler died on Saturday, August 28, 2021. He was born in Butler on February 28, 1941 to the late Ernest and Gladys (Schaffner) Baker. Dave served his country honorably with the US Air Force. He was a talented musician with numerous bands and loved to sing, play, and listen to music. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Steelers, but most of all telling jokes. David was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for numerous years and loved spending time with his fellow “Road Dawgs”. He was loved and will be greatly missed. David was the beloved father of Stephanie Szymanski and Kristin Baker; grandfather of Ivy, Nina, and Brady, and brother of Mary Jenkins. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Friends will be received on Saturday, September 4th from 1-3 PM in the SPENCER D.
