David L. Burgard

David L. Burgard, 70, of Evans City passed away on Friday, September 8th, 2023. He was born in Butler on October 6th, 1952 to Charlotte (Allshouse) Burgard and the late David S. Burgard. David served his country honorably in the US Navy. He enjoyed car shows and especially loved collecting antique cars. He was known for being compassionate, friendly, easy going, care free, trustworthy, and always rooted for the underdog. He was loved and will be forever missed. David was the father of Andrew, Anthony (Daniela), Shelly, Jimmy (Betsey), and Michelle Burgard; brother of Cindy Edinger, Tom (Terrie) Burgard, Corie (Gil) Orchard, and Jason (Colleen) Burgard. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Kelly, Oliver, and Benson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his sister Diane.
