David S. Burgard

David S. Burgard, 91 of Evans City passed away at home on Saturday, November 6, 2021 surrounded by family. He was born on August 20, 1930 in Pittsburgh to the late Sylvester and Emma (Wymer) Burgard. David was known to be loving, selfless, faithful, and hardworking. He enjoyed working in his yard, volunteering at his church as an usher, but most of all he had a passion for antique cars. Above all else, David was a family man who loved to spend time with his beloved wife, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was the loving husband of Charlotte Burgard for over 69 years; father of David Burgard, Cindy Edinger, Tom (Terrie) Burgard, Corie (Gil) Orchard, and Jason (Colleen) Burgard; brother of Leo Burgard, Eileen Best, and Caroline Young. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his daughter Diane, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and his son in law Kenny Edinger.
