Butler County is now seeing the brightest and most vibrant colors of the season.
According to the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Butler and surrounding counties have reached peak foliage.
Officials with the DCNR say the area “is fiery with color now” noting that leaf peepers can catch displays of yellow, orange, red, and burgundy.
Officials also say that prime oak is still developing, meaning we should see peak foliage last another week.
