Today is the final day to register for a mail in ballot for the November 7 election.
You must currently be registered to vote to qualify for a mail in ballot. The application must be received by the county election board by 5 p.m. today or the application can be filled out on line at vote.pa.gov.
There are no requirements to apply for a mail in ballot in Pennsylvania. If you apply to vote by mail but do not receive your election ballot soon enough or decide to vote in person you can still vote on election day by simply:
- Surrendering your mail in ballot at your polling location on election day
- If you don’t have your ballot vote provisionally and the county election board would confirm you did not vote by mail
