The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will work on a portion of a Cranberry Township Road during this upcoming week.
Wednesday and Thursday daytime single lane closures will be in place along Freedom Road between the intersection of Lovi Road and Haine School Road to allow for road widening.
Flaggers will be in place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and motorists are likely to experience delays. This work is part of a larger Freedom Road project that includes new highway and turning lanes as well as drainage and signal replacement.
This $18 million project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2025.
