Democrats seeking federal and state seats will be making stops around Butler County on Sunday as part of a Whistle Stop tour.
The Butler County Democratic Committee is hosting the event beginning at 10 a.m. at the Jaycee Shelter of Cranberry Community Park. Additional stops will be made at noon at the Adams Township Community Park Kiwanis Shelter, 3 p.m. at the Alameda Park Holly Shelter, and 5 p.m. at the McDanels Shelter at Moraine State Park.
Some of the candidates voters will have a chance to meet and speak with include candidate for the 16th District of the U.S. House Kristy Gnibus, candidate for the 21st District State Senate seat Shelbie Stromyer, and candidate for state House 12th District Daniel Smith Jr.
Social distancing and masks will be required at every stop.
