On the morning of Friday, May 3rd, 2024 Dennis D. Duffy was called to his eternal home in Heaven. Denny was a simple man, but he enjoyed life. His heart was big and although stubborn at times, Denny brought smiles and laughter to everyone around him. He shared the greatest of stories and told the best of jokes. For many years, Denny worked for the Deemers doing various general labor jobs, but he was most talented at painting. It was the simplest things like drinking coffee, eating his favorite snack, Pepsi and Reese’s peanut butter cups, and long walks outside that brought Denny joy. Some more of his favorite things were playing the lottery, eating at Eat N’ Park, and most especially, playing Bingo. Denny is survived by his loving wife Linda, her two sons and their families, 1 Brother Sam, and 2 sisters, Barb and Nancy. He is also survived by his son Steven (Lora), his grandsons Steven (Hannah) and Collin, his beloved granddaughter Shay (Bryan), and many great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Eat N’ Park, 3 B’s Tobacco, Highfield Bingo, the Deemer family, AHN Cancer Center, Dr. Trotta, and Good Samaritan Hospice care through Concordia for taking such good care of Denny throughout the years and making his days brighter. Despite battling cancer, Denny never let anything slow him down. He was a tough and humble man and now is at peace with his Lord Jesus. All services were held privately through the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD. BUTLER, PA 16001. WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM.
