Denny Hamlin takes checkers in Vegas

Denny Hamlin locked up a spot in the third round of the Nascar Cup Series playoffs with a win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last night. Hamlin held off defending series champion Chase Elliott for the win, and his second victory this season – he won Labor Day weekend at Darlington. Kyle Busch finished third, followed by teammate Martin Truex, Jr. Ryan Blaney was fifth.
