A woman is facing charges after crashing her car while under the influence in Butler Township.
Just before 11:30 pm on June 15th Butler Township police were called to the scene of the 800 block of East Jefferson Street. 35-year-old Chelsea Perry of prospect had crashed her car into a dumpster.
Perry was leaving a local bar with another passenger when she swerved into the wrong side of traffic. Perry then hit a dumpster. When Butler Police arrived on the scene Perry disclosed she and her passenger had been out drinking.
The passenger in her car suffered a laceration into her leg there were no other reported injuries.
Perry was charged with Driving under the influence, driving the vehicle at a unsafe speed, and driving on roadways laned for traffic.
