Devin R. Kocko, 27 years old passed away suddenly October 21st, Thursday morning with his Dad by his side.
He was born on February 28, 1994 and was the son of Alex M. Kocko.
Devin was born with Autism and was a very special and innocent boy. He became ill the last 2 years and was unable to walk. He was very much loved and cared for by his family. Devin’s father was his whole world and Devin was the whole world to his Dad. His father centered his whole world and life around Devin. Devin’s comfort was his father, family, and his home. Devin’s family made his life very happy. His brother, Alex M. Kocko, Jr., and his grandma, Jane I. Kocko, were always around him and answered to all his needs. These were the most important people to Devin, and in his life. Devin loved all of us and we all loved him more than anything. The home was centered around Devin with a lot of love. Devin left a huge hole in all our hearts that can never be filled. He also left a feeling of emptiness and hollowness in our home, that can never be replaced. He will always be remembered and loved deeply. Devin is now in the Lord’s hands and is at Peace. Devin gave a lot of happiness to his Dad and family. And his Dad and family gave Devin all the love and happiness in the world.
Devins most favorite holiday was Christmas! He loved the decorations, the Christmas tree, Christmas music, and of course, the presents. He would play his musical Christmas Snowman all year. He also loved to draw and to use markers. Devin loved to swim. He also loved his fuzzy animal slippers and his woody doll to sleep with. His most important thing was all of his movies! His T.V. and DVDs played non-stop. Devin also loved listening to music. His favorite was Fleetwood Mac. He had a very simply and happy life, due to having Autism. Devin was a joy to have around and in our lives! He had a small family, but with so much love for him. Devin will never be forgotten and will always be remembered Devin’s Dad and family will never be the same without him.
Surviving is his father, Alex M. Kocko; his brother, Alex M. Kocko, Jr.; and his grandma, Jane I. Kocko. Also, a half-sister, Jaime Kocko, and an aunt, Donna (Kocko) Jenereski.
