Diane Denise Fleming, age 63, of Butler, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 23, 2017 at her sister’s residence in Greensburg.
She was born April 12, 1954 in Butler, Pennsylvania to the late Donald P. Fleming and the late Regina Margaret Dietzen Fleming.
Diane was a graduate of Butler High School in 1972. She received her B.S. in Nursing from IUP and then did post graduate work at Liberty University. Diane worked for Butler Memorial Hospital as an RN for 29 years and one year at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh. In addition to her nursing work, Diane worked for a time as a Paramedic. Diane participated in the Butler After 5 Council and served several years as its Treasurer. She faithfully attended Greensburg Alliance Church. Diane enjoyed baking, sending cards, traveling, and visiting with family and friends.
She is survived by her sister, Donna J. Dail and her husband Rev. Roy Dail of Greensburg, PA; niece, Krystal Dail of Greensburg, PA; two nephews, Kent Dail of Henderson, NV, and Kevin (Jennifer) Dail of Greensburg, PA; great niece, Sophia Joy Dail; great nephew, Elijah Porter Dail; and step mother, Marian Fleming of Cabot, PA.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Porter Fleming.
Friends will be received on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm at Thompson – Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 10:30 am at the Greensburg Alliance Church, 4428 PA-136 Greensburg, PA, with her brother-in-law, Rev. Roy Dail, officiating.
Private Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
