Dolores Vivian MacMaster, age 82, of Butler, passed away on Saturday, March 22,2025 at Mission Regional Hospital, in Mission, Texas, where she and her husband wintered.
Born June 13,1942 in Butler; she was the daughter of the late Paul H and Edna Grace Neely Ifft.
For 17 years she worked in clerical and the accounting departments at Heckett Engineering in Butler, a division of Harsco Corporation. For 13 years she was the co-owner of the Laural Tree shop in downtown Butler. She worked 10 years and retired from the Community Care Connection.
She was a faithful member of the Mt Chestnut Presbyterian Church, where she had been the church treasurer, Deacon, member of the Bell Choir, and enjoyed going to Lunch Bunch.
Dolores was an avid reader and enjoyed golfing with her husband. She golfed in six states and was a longtime member of the Friday Couples League at Stoughton Acres Golf Course, Butler.
She is survived by her husband James W MacMaster, who she married March 11, 1972; her children Skye MacMaster of Butler, and Gregory (Wendy) MacMaster of Middletown, Maryland; grandson James W MacMaster; and her siblings Gloria (Richard) Ifft, and Beverly (Joseph) Gogolin.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 31,2025 from 2pm to 5pm at the Raisley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, pc., 387 Main Street, Prospect.
The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, 11am, in the Raisley Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Allio of Mt Chestnut Presbyterian Church, officiating, and Rev Jeff Curtis, assisting.
Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Prospect.
