Donna Claypoole-Burgess

Donna Claypoole-Burgess, 76 of Butler passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 6, 2022 after a courageous battle with health complications. She was born in Butler on October 18, 1945 to the late Fred and Violet (Whithroe) Reese. Donna was a very active and devout Christian. She was known for her selfless and giving heart. Above all else, she devoted her life to her family and friends. She was loved and will be forever missed. She was the beloved wife of James Burgess; mother of Gene (Marsha) Claypoole, Norma (Mark Owens) Reges, and Paul Claypoole; sister of Jerry Parker, Butch (Nellie) Reese, Roy Reese, David Reese, Peggy Parker, and Martha Cook. She is also survived by 4 step children, 8 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Friends will be received on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 4-6 PM in the SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD. BUTLER, PA 16001, WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM. Services will immediately follow in the funeral home, burial will be held privately.
