Dorothy M. “Dot” Kildoo, 93, of Butler, PA, passed away on September 23, 2017.
She was born March 17, 1924 in Shaler Twp, Pennsylvania to the late Merle Smith and the late Mary Setzensand.
Dot and her late husband were the owners and operators of the Evergreen Nursery for 30 years and Beef Hide Business in Mt. Chestnut. She enjoyed hunting, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Dot is survived by her close friends, Dee (Tom) Bloom of New Castle, PA, Tomi (Ben) Miller of Butler, PA, Tori Bloom of New Castle, PA, and Douglas (Barb) Lindey of Butler, PA; and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charley A. Kildoo, who she married on August 19, 1949 and who passed away on July 6, 2001.
Friends will be received Thursday, September 28, 2017, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Thompson – Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm with Rev. Ron Schermerhorn from Mt. Chestnut Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Private burial will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.
