A famous television doctor is the latest entry into the race for Pennsylvania Senate.
Dr. Mehmet Oz announced last night on FOX that he is entering the Republican primary for Senate. “I want to be your public servant,” Oz said. “And every choice I make will be serving the citizens of Pennsylvania and the United States, and none of them will serve the special interests of Washington.”
Oz currently lives in New Jersey, but is registered to vote in Pennsylvania.
He joins a growing field of candidates for both political parties seeking the seat held by Senator Pat Toomey, who is retiring at the end of the year.
