A local organization is coordinating an event to help residents this weekend in Cranberry Township.
The Cranberry Sunrise Rotary is hosting a Drive Thru Food Drive on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gleaners Food Bank on Rochester Road.
Those able to help are asked to bring non-perishable food items in a bag or box and a volunteer wearing a mask will be on hand to unload vehicles. Specific items needed include pasta sauce, peanut butter, cereal, and canned meat as well as toilet paper, toothpaste, shampoo, and soap. Items past expiration date will not be accepted.
Cash donations will also be accepted with check to be made out to Gleaners Food Bank.
