While some areas may have had a passing shower this weekend, it’s been a very dry couple of weeks for the region.
Data from the National Weather Service shows that the area has had only 6.84 inches of rain this entire spring.
May has really stood out with only 1.73 inches of precipitation. There’s also very little rain in the forecast over the next seven days according to the National Weather Service.
They also say the summer could be trending in the same direction, with dry and warm conditions.
