A man is in custody after he allegedly tried to contact an underage girl on social media.
The FBI’s Pittsburgh Child Exploitation Unit was posing as a 14-year-old girl and began social media contact with 21-year-old Asaf Abokshref of Duquesne.
Police say that over a two-week span Abokshref asked to meet up with the child on multiple occasions for sexual-related acts.
The FBI then set up a sting operation at a Cranberry Township apartment complex.
Abokshref was arrested on site.
