Edward Dean Ketchem, 64, passed away at his home in New York City on March 27, 2021 where he has lived for the past 35 years. He was born in Butler on October 7, 1956 to the late William and Josephine (Reader) Ketchem. Edward was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. He went to Butler High School. Edward worked as a general tradesman. He was a big New York Yankees fan and even got to see and talk to Yogi Berra. Edward was the father of Isabel Osorio, Nicole Genoval, and Eden Herring all of New York City; brother of William A. (Diana) Ketchem of Butler, Catherine (Kenneth) Bronder of Butler, Denise (Gary) Tipton of Cranberry, and Brenda Ketchem of St. Petersburg, FL. He is also survived by 2 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, 5 nieces, 3 nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer Sorg. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family. Rest in peace. A private burial service will be held at Butler County Memorial Park through the SPENCER D.
