Edward “E.J.” Stemmerick Jr., 32 of Pittsburgh, passed away on Feb. 17th in Carrick. Always known as E.J., he was born in Pittsburgh in 1988 to Edward J. Stemmerick Sr. and the late Christine (Phoertner) Jones. He worked as an expert craftsman and contractor. E.J was said to be kind, loving and having a heart of gold, that he would “give the shirt off his back”. He loved to add laughter to this world and make others smile. Surviving are his father Edward J. Stemmerick Sr. and his sons Damian & Dominic Stemmerick. He was the beloved brother of Bobby Phoertner. E.J. also leaves behind the love of his life, Jessika Charlier. He is also survived by his favorite uncle William Stemmerick.
