Edward “Ed” Sarver, 87, of Butler passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. He was born in Butler on September 26, 1937, to the late William and Dolly (McKissick) Sarver. Ed was employed as a Painter at Pullman until it closed, he then worked at Butler County Ford until his retirement. He was known for being hardworking and a great husband, devoted father and a great pappy. Ed enjoyed watching the Steelers, going to car shows and loved to go to garage and yard sales. He was the beloved husband of Connie (Eichenauer) Sarver, since their marriage in 1985; father of Jayni (James Petrigni) and Edward Jr. (Schconda) Sarver, Leah (Robert) Sipe, and Mike (Chassidie) Eichenauer; brother of Ron (Jill) Sarver, Dolly (Mickey) Rubin, and Ralph (Diana) Sarver; grandfather of Brandi, Heather, D.J., Sierra, Haley, Macie, Trinity, Gaven, and Jessep; great grandfather to numerous great grandchildren. Along with his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his 8 siblings and his granddaughter, Danielle. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 5-7 PM at SPENCER D.
