Edward J. Bresnahan, 93, of Butler, PA, passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian.
He was born March 10, 1929 in Chicora, PA, the son of the late Merle and Ethel (Burns) Bresnahan.
Ed enjoyed bowling, playing cards, baseball, and golf. He liked watching the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean War and had retired from Armco Steel.
Surviving are his daughter, Denise (Steven) Horwat of Renfrew; a son, Edward (Toni) Bresnahan of Fenelton; grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Fitzhenry, Lyndsay (Barry) Sebesta, Tyler (Gina) Bresnahan, and Olivia Bresnahan; great grandchildren, Patrick, Joshua, James, Mary, and Mila.Young; his companion of 24 years, Joyce Anderson of Butler and her children, Heather (Tim) Fennell, Eric (Roni) Anderson and Matt (Caryn) Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Donna Lee (Bowser) Bresnahan, a sister and 3 brothers.
Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Tuesday, August 9th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM with services Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 10 AM.
Interment in the Butler County Memorial Park where Military honors will be held.
