As work on Ehrman Crest Elementary School continues, so does work on Ehrman Road itself.
Cranberry Township supervisors approved a new right turn lane from Ehrman Road onto Route 19 late last week.
They said safety of students and other commuters on that stretch of road was paramount in the decision. Supervisors say the new lane will help keep traffic flowing safely and prevent backups.
Work is set to take place later this spring.
