Several federal agencies are teaming up to offer a virtual event focused on protecting older people from financial fraud.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of PA, along with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Pittsburgh Office of the FBI are holding a virtual town hall on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m.
This free online seminar is being offered live through the SEC’s website with a goal of raising awareness and educating seniors about potential scams during the ongoing pandemic.
