Eleanor Bernice Miller née Jablonski, of Butler, born March 28, 1935, has passed away peacefully at the age of 89 on March 23.
Eleanor, for all who had the privilege of knowing her, was a steadfast beacon of light and faith. From raising puppies to driving a bus in Colorado, she lived a full and varied life. She loved traveling to Myrtle Beach with her family, finding the greatest deals at garage sales and flea markets, and playing with her treasured Shih Tzu Sophie. With her customary coffee and doughnut every morning, she ensured that each day was lived to its fullest.
Eleanor is survived by her four children Jeffrey Miller (Pam), Nancy Radick (Mark), Jen Miller-Friestad (Steve Mobley) from South Carolina, and Eric Miller (Dawna McDeavitt); two granddaughters Heather Radick and Sarah Miller; and two great grandsons Tegan and Anthony Miller. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years Loyal Miller, her brother Joseph Jablonski, and her grandson Andrew Friestad.
She will be remembered on March 28, 2025, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 am, at Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 North McKean Street in Butler. The Rev. Harry Bielewicz, will officiate. She will then spend eternity next to her beloved husband at Calvary Cemetery.
Although Eleanor’s physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit will always continue to uplift the many loved ones she touched during her life. Thank you, Steamboat Ellie, for all the wonderful years you gave us.
