Many people are going to be working remotely from home this week, which can sometimes lead to distractions.
Lisa Guard of Specialized Staffing says it’s important to create a work environment somewhere in your house.
“Make sure you have a consistent place that is prepared just for work,” Guard said. “If you’re lucky enough to have a spare bedroom you can turn into an office, do that.”
“Use time management and organization tools to keep you on track,” Guard said. “Don’t just think ‘When I wake up tomorrow, I’m going to fire up my laptop and get to work,'”
